Regulatory Education and Competence Hub (REACH)
REACH is an online education center that offers continuing education courses to support learning for state requirements, remediation and desired personal growth. REACH was developed as a way to provide additional educational resources to massage and bodywork therapy professionals and assist state massage boards. All REACH courses meet FSMTB Continuing Education Standards, which were created by expert representatives from regulatory boards.
Courses in REACH can be taken at any time, and course completion information will automatically load into the national Massage Therapy Licensing Database (MTLD), where state licensing boards can instantly access the information.
Find REACH courses in our CE Registry or visit reach4ce.org to see a complete list of REACH courses offered.
What devices can I use to take REACH courses?
REACH courses are accessible on mobile devices such as smartphones and tablets, as well as computers. There are no special apps that need to be installed – just use the internet browser (e.g., Microsoft Edge, Firefox, Safari, Chrome) on your device to access REACH.
What courses are available on REACH?
REACH courses focus on regulatory education with topics such as ethics, laws, boundaries, the scope of practice and cultural competence. To take a look at our current course offerings, visit the Course Catalog.
How can I confirm whether my state board accepts REACH courses?
State regulatory boards determine if continuing education hours meet their requirements for license renewal. The best ways to know if your state board accepts these courses are to either review your state board’s website or contact the board and ask them about their continuing education policies.
